A random insult at humanity.
The people who wear fanny packs are those who are so mediocre in absolutely every way that their existence has become an unending cycle of monotony and their only comfort in life rests in the knowledge that by wearing such an aesthetic monstrosity they might pull down those around them into the gaping maw of banality that they have no hope of ever escaping.

Sounds to me like the people who wear baseball caps backwards.
Those who wear their baseball caps backwards are actually a separate sub-species of human. Instead of having a life filled with existential torment and the urge to spread it on to others; they are cocky bastards who bloat themselves with an over inflated sense of self worth and believe that the entire world should be honored to be in their presence.
Hello Cyc .... I just happened to drop by after seeing you on Infidel's site comment's. Your profile was an interest of course ... being goth and atheist, and the thing about being in Oklahoma. My home is Dallas, and I too am even a fan of goth art's/ music ... and many more. But I loved this post ... as well as your comment's here ... sum's much into a nutshell actually. I can even think of a Hell of alot more insult's on humanity! ... well at least the mass herd's that is. :)
Humanity see's themselves as divine ... and god's (or other archetypal icon's)personal lil Teddy Bear's in many cases. :)
